It is an ironic moment, for me, while we bring the planet's ecosystems closer to collapse, that we are concerned with a few germs on shopping carts. Talk about re-arranging the deck chairs as the Titanic sinks!Large fish have decreased 90% in the oceans. Hundreds of thousands of acres of land each year go to desert. And literally billions of people do not have safe water to drink.Do we really need to irradiate our shopping carts? Come on, people. This is sad.
