Go Veg

by admin on September 13th, 2008

In this day and age, going veg*n (vegetarian or vegan) could just save your life.  These days, another meat recall is just above the horizon.  An outbreak of mad cow disease could strike anytime, and as for our pets- they’re not even safe either.  So why take the risk?  Say “no thanks” to meat when offered. It could be the best choice you ever made.

Animal products cause high blood pressure and cholestorol, increased risk for heart disease, obesity, and cancer, just to name a few.  Most vegetarians are happier and healthier.  The real question is: “why not?”  Even if you can’t take the plunge and go vegan, doing a little makes a big difference.  If cutting a portion of it out at a meal each day is all you can do, then that’s great- you’re still doing something.

Do it for your health.  Do it for the animals.  Do it for the environment.  Whatever the reason, living on a vegetarian diet is guaranteed to be rewarding.
